April Meeting

Brisbane Scquilters held their monthly meeting yesterday.

Here are Pam, Julie, Margaret and Kathy Miller sewing and chatting (from left to right).

And here are Robyn, Margaret and Lynell, also hard at work.

I was working on some English paper piecing.

Pam was working on these amazing Sue Spargo designed blocks, in wool.

Lynell had this little sampler just finished.

Julie had a covered jar to show off, as well as a little bag.

As well as these four bags all made from a single fat quarter.

Robyn brought along this beautiful bear quilt for show and tell.

This is the back view showing the quilting.

Next meeting is scheduled for 14 May. All are welcome.

  1. Hi Gals
Lovely to see you all hard at it.
I am the phantom visitor from NZ.

  2. I wish I'd been there, but had an amazing weekend free motion quilting workshop with Deborah Louie from Sydney. She is a really inspirational teacher. I might just be able to do it one day, with a lot of practice! Lol. Didn't help that I had the flu of course. Did Cathy Miller sing?
Love all your work, Pam your Sue Spargo pieces are wonderful. Julie, you little bag-maker you, you are amazing! And Robyn, love your bears...I want to make some.
I'm off to NZ at the end of the week, for grandson and grand-daughter fix - first since last July...can't wait.
    See you in May,
    Shaaryn
